How To Save A Phone Dropped In Water

Unfortunately some of them drop their smartphone or featured phone in water when they go into toilet,any river banks,near sea or to wash basin or  at pool.After the unfortunate drop of their Phone they will panic at that moment since the phone contains all their data like photos,videos,apps,audio e.t.c and their personal contacts,messages and other information.Since if the phone ma damage all their data and information will be lost and they will never get back them again.And some of them don't have most important data or information and they will get panic due the cost of their smartphone and the money have lost by them in the form of smartphone.

So in that case i.e when your Phone have dropped in water you may follow the below steps to protect your phone.



  After your phone have fallen in water then immediately remove your phone from water as soon as possible.This is because the longer the phone stay in water the higher amount of water will get into your phone through small holes in your phone like charger,headphone ports back panel  and it may damage your phone hardware like motherboard circuits,camera,battery screen e.t.c.

Then after removing your phone form water then you must know What to do And What Not to do as i given below.

• What NOT to Do:

1. Don't Turn ON your phone if it was OFF.
2. Don't shake try to tap or use the phone.
3. Don't press any button or side keys.
4. Don't take the phone apart since this may void your phone manufacturer warranty.This is because every phone comes with a LDI(liquid Damage Indicator) and when it is activated your phone warranty voids.That LDI could be triggered when you open your phone.If you really need to take it apart do that only when you have some experience otherwise don't do that.
5. Most important thing is you must not try to blow on it which may send some of the surface water to inside your phone.This may cause more damage to your phone.
6. Another thing is that don't apply any type of heat to evaporate water on tour phone including microwave,blow dryer heat and also don't try to make it freeze.

• What TO DO:

1. Try to Turn OFF your phone if it doesn't and keep it in upright position.
2. Remove Protective cases like flip covers e.t.c on your phone and then immediately remove Memory card(SD Card) and your Sim cards from their slots.
3.  Remove your back panel and if your battery is removable then remove it or leave it.The battery is non removable in some of the smartphone models like Gionee Dream D1,HTC One(M8).
   
4. Tack a piece of Smooth Cloth or Paper and clean it very delicately.While cleaning it you also should avoid the water to spread it around since this may go into your phone.
5. If the damage by water is more extensive then only you can use a vacuum to suck the water carefully even from the cracks at which we cannot go.
6. Then just bury your phone in a raw rice bag.This may be odd to any one and this is to do because the rice has a capacity of  absorbing water and this is not a trick but this is just a common sense for drying your watered smartphone and many of the users tried and got success.
7. And if you are having a phone drying pouch you must also use it.If you have any idea about the pouch there is no problem or you can get it online or sold in most electronics stores.

Then leave it for 2-3 days and then try it .If your phone dosen't Switch On go and charge your phone.Even then your phone doesn't switch on then consult the mobile technician nearby.He will explains you wheather it was battery or some other problem.

• At the last try to avoid your phone while going near to water bodies or toilet.
